Sharon Art Walk 2, the second annual collaborative art event featuring galleries and artists’ studios on the Sharon Green, will take place Saturday, September 8, from 4-7pm. Participating organizations are Hotchkiss Library of Sharon, 10 Upper Main Street; Icehouse Project Space, 34 Upper Main Street; Sharon Historical Society and Museum, 18 Main Street; Sharon Town Hall Gallery, 63 Main Street; and Standard Space, 147 Main Street. Hotchkiss Library will host an exhibition by Susan Rand, ‘direct observations’; Icehouse Project Space will exhibit Dan Devine’s installation, ‘Inside Out NASCAR’; Sharon Historical Society will feature ‘Alison Palmer: Creatures Great and Small’; Sharon Town Hall will have a photography exhibition, ‘Middle Distance,’ by Glen Seelenbrandt; and Standard Space will feature a show by Jeff Joyce, ‘The Nineteenth Century and After.’ Theresa Kenny will open her studio at 41 Main Street, and KK Kozikwill welcome visitors to her studio at 34 Upper Main Street. Colleen McGuire will have an exhibit at J.P. Gifford Café & Catering Co., 16 W. Main Street. Sculptor Ken Memoli will exhibit his work outside the Law Office of Michael D. Lynch, 106 Upper Main Street. Refreshments will be offered, along with the opportunity to speak with the artists and purchase art works.
