The Amenia Wastewater Committee is hosting three community forums to discuss the 2022 Amenia Hamlet Sewer Feasibility Study. We want to present the report to as many people as possible and get everyone's input.

The goal is to assemble all community feedback and quantifying support. If the project can be modified to address consensus feedback from residential and commercial owners, the Wastewater Committee will recommend the Town Board proceed to the next phase: map, plan and report / environmental review. That phase is required to form the district and forming the district is necessary to apply for grants and interest-free loans. That report will detail the maximum acceptable user fee thereby insuring no construction occurs without the required grant funding.
