Show Notes

I am running because…….

David Gronbach for Senate

Hi, my name is David and I am running as the Democratic candidate for Connecticut’s 30th Senate District because the status quo is not working. The 30th District needs a fresh voice from someone who is not a career politician, who is engaged with our communities, and who cares more about getting things done than getting reelected. I am an independent voice who will work within the Democratic majority, while standing up for Northwest Connecticut’s unique issues.

I do not take this step lightly, but the encouragement from friends throughout the District has convinced me that the people of Western Connecticut want a State government that works for them. The people want someone who recognizes the diverse needs of our rural, suburban, and city communities and will fight for them in Hartford.

Together, we can hold the line for middle class and lower income families; we can relieve the financial burdens placed on us; and we can get Western Connecticut a seat at the table to demand more resources for economic development, conservation, tax relief, infrastructure investment, and education.

I look forward to meeting you in the coming months. I want to hear about your experiences, concerns, and share my vision. We all have an important stake in the 2020 election. Let’s make history together.
