James has lived in Dutchess for 20 years and his family loves calling Amenia home.James has more than 25 years of corporate, non-profit, and governmental experience. In his corporate career, James was the co-founder and executive vice president of Vitech Systems Group, a major national and international provider of technology to governments and large insurance companies. He helped lead Vitech from a company of two employees in 1993 to an international firm with over 1,300 employees.In James’ service to Dutchess County he has served on numerous committees and boards including the Mid-Hudson Civic Center, Astor Services for Children & Families, MTA Commissioner on behalf of Dutchess County, Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office Liaison to Emergency Response & County Executive’s Office, and is presently the Deputy Civil Defense Coordinator for Dutchess County, among many others.
