Karuna Publications presents “Inner Peace as a Way of Life: Buddhist Wisdom for a Modern World” by Janet Ettele, author of the How Life Works series

Join Author, Musician, Janet Ettele on Saturday, March 23rd at Scoville Memorial Library 4 pm, where she will discuss the every-day practicality of certain Buddhist principles to cultivate inner peace, a necessary ingredient for world peace. She will also perform original music with record producer Gary Lefkowith. The talk begins at 4:00 PM and will present Buddhist philosophies and wisdom applicable to anyone regardless of faith or tradition.

It sometimes seems that there’s no clear path through the turmoil of our contemporary world. Although author, life coach, and musician Janet Ettele’s writing is rooted in Buddhist teachings, she presents their insights in a practical manner relevant to audiences of all religious and spiritual backgrounds. Join her for “Inner Peace as a Way of Life” to learn more about the everyday utility of Buddhist principles including interdependence, impermanence, karma, compassion and equanimity.

Janet Kathleen Ettele is an author, musician, certified life coach, and student of Buddhist dharma. She graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston and worked in the entertainment industry prior to becoming a mother. Signed copies of the first three books in her How Life Works series—How Generosity WorksHow the Root of Kindness Works, and How Patience Works—will be available for purchase.
