Show Notes

They are touring in support of Full Circle & Then Some (Oct. 11), their first record in five years and the follow up to Trigger Hippy's critically acclaimed self titled debut in 2014. The new album marks the band’s return and shows off a rejuvenated lineup that now features guitarist and singer Ed Jurdi and powerhouse vocalist and sax player Amber Woodhouse. Together with Trigger Hippy’s founders, the rhythm section of Gorman and bassist Nick Govrik, the band has found new energy and creativity that matches the vision they’ve chased since the beginning.

Their music weaves together heavy doses of blues, Americana, Southern soul, roadhouse boogie and classic rock with three-part harmonies - listen to the single “Don’t Wanna Bring You Down” here. In addition to Trigger Hippy, Steve Gorman released a memoir, Hard To Handle: The Life And Death of the Black Crowes, which gives his first hand account of his decades-long tenure as drummer and founding member of the Black Crowes. Steve is no stranger to radio, and the longtime Fox Sports Radio personality recently launched a new nationally syndicated show.
